A – If you have lost or accidentally deleted an important file you should take steps to prevent writing data to the storage device. Stop using the device, shut down the computer, remove the thumb drive or media card, do not save any more data, and contact Advanced Data Recovery right away. The less the device is used since the loss or deletion of the file the more likely the file can be successfully recovered.
